Day One sets the foundation for your natural dyeing journey as you delve into the essential principles of fiber selection and preparation. On Day Two, unlock the secrets of botanical alchemy as you learn to extract pigments from a diverse array of plant materials. you’ll explore various methods for dye extraction and delve into the nuances of color modulation and modification using natural ingredients.

As you delve deeper into the art of natural dyeing, you'll discover an array of techniques and approaches to achieve stunning color effects and patterns on your fibers.

With each day running from 11:00am to 3:00pm, our workshop provides ample time for hands-on learning, guided instruction, and collaborative exploration. Please bring a notebook, writing utensil, and lunch with you to fuel your creativity and nourish your mind and body throughout the weekend.
